National agencies without an office nearby still appear in your results, shown as a "Satellite office", since they support foster carers everywhere through local teams rather than only where they have a physical building.
Locally run, regional or national agencies
Every agency in your results carries a badge showing its scale alongside its Ofsted rating. Locally run agencies are small, independent services based in a single area. Regional agencies cover a wider patch, often several counties. National agencies operate right across England through local teams and support networks.
